JOB SUMMARY

This position will help document and record essential quality activities and help communicate any relevant information as needed. This individual will be part of the Mission QA team that strives to meet or exceed all regulations and lead the industry in Quality. In addition, this position involves a combination of visual monitoring of various aspects of the FDC operations and physical testing of the product.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

§ Conduct routine and visual inspections of the product.

§ Sample and inspect raw and finished product to ensure conformance to standards.

§ Initiate and complete aging, shipping, receiving, and grading reports.

§ Create and complete experiments to test packaging, product, and other elements of quality.

§ Set up stations and equipment to measure quality specifications.

§ Test product for oil content, temperature, and internal/external defects.

§ Maintain a clean and orderly workstation.

§ Communicate issues to Corporate QA and FDC leadership teams.

§ All other duties as assigned.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

§ High School Diploma or 2 years of relevant experience.

§ Ability to be flexible with schedule and work overtime as requested.

§ Effective interpersonal communication skills.

§ Experienced in Microsoft Office.

§ Bilingual in English and Spanish (Preferred).

§ Forklift and pallet jack experience (Preferred).

§ Knowledge of Microsoft D365/inventory systems (Preferred).

 

WORKING CONDITIONS

§ Ability to work in a temperature-controlled environment from 34°F – 42°F.

§ Ability to lift or move 25-50 pounds.

§ Ability to climb ladders and use work platforms safely.

§ Safely work near moving mechanical parts and equipment.

§ Ability and willingness to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch/bend as needed to perform essential tasks throughout entire shift.
