JOB SUMMARY

The Purchasing Coordinator supports the Purchasing Department by processing purchase orders, maintaining accurate data, coordinating with internal teams and suppliers, and ensuring timely administrative and procurement support under the direction of the Purchasing Director. 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

§  Responsible for the accurate entry, proofing, maintenance and submission of purchase orders based on requisitions and requirements.

§  Maintain superior level of accuracy while creating and verifying purchase order information including proper product costing, shipping, instructions, etc.

§  Review and resolve supplier invoice discrepancies.

§  Initiates and completes vendor set-up, which includes preparation of documents for the Accounting Dept.

§  General Office Duties:  Duties can encompass distribution of mail, operating office machinery (copiers/scanners), filing, answering phones, and composing correspondence.

§  Complete special assignments for all levels of managers that require collecting, organizing, and analyzing data and producing reports.

§  Performs data entry and Credit Card reconciliation.

§  Will perform back-up support for all domestic and international travel arrangements including flight itineraries, car rentals, and hotel bookings as needed.

§  Perform other duties as assigned.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

§  Associate degree and/or 3 years of strong administrative background.

§  Proficient computer skills (Word, Excel and D365 helpful).

§  Excellent communication, customer service, written and phone skills.

§  Strong ability to work independently and remain self-motivated with minimal direct supervision.

§  Excellent ability to analyze data timely, efficiently, effectively.

§  Excellent ability to multi-task projects/assignments.

§  Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships at all levels of the organization.

§  Strong organizational skills and close attention to detail.

 

Pay Range: $ 25.74 - $27.50
