For California, the range is $20 - $24 per hour. Final compensation will be communicated during the interview or offer process. Housing assistance available for interns relocating from outside the area.

Program Summary

Mission Produce’s internship program provides students with valuable, hands-on experience in the produce industry. A key focus of the program is helping interns build meaningful relationships with employees across the organization and develop the skills necessary to work in a fast-paced environment. While each internship is tailored to the needs of the department, all interns participate in the following program components:

  • Comprehensive onboarding program
  • Mentorship and professional development opportunities
  • Ventura County Fair booth planning and execution
  • Summer Capstone Project

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Responsibilities vary by department and may include:

  • Entering sales orders and reviewing related documents
  • Assisting with forecasting, inventory management, and operational activities
  • Creating dashboards and monitoring key metrics
  • Conducting research, analyzing data, and presenting findings
  • Learning how sourcing, supply chain, transportation, and sales collaborate to achieve Mission’s goals

Minimum Qualifications

  • Positive and proactive mindset with a strong sense of enthusiasm and initiative
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree at an accredited university in agriculture, business, economics, marketing, communications, supply chain, or a related field
