JOB TITLE: QUALITY ASSURANCE SUPERVISOR
REPORTS TO: FDC MANAGER

JOB SUMMARY
The QA Supervisor will supervise the QA team to ensure the proper procedures are being completed, as well as communicate any relevant information as needed to Mission Corporate teams. This individual will be a part of the Mission QA team that strives to meet and exceed all specifications and lead the industry in quality. In addition, this position involves a combination of visual monitoring of various aspects of the plant operations and physical testing of products.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for setting the schedule for the QA and sanitation team.
- Provide training to established standards for each team member.
- Ability to communicate the status and quality of product to Mission Corporate.
- Ability to communicate daily with other departments within the facility.
- Understand and track customer rejections. Determine common causes and provide solutions to rejections.
- Complete quality documents and reports summarizing key metrics and information trends and provide documentation in a timely matter to Mission Corporate.
- Ensure all QA standards and SOPs are adhered to.
- Assist in ensuring that the FDC maintains and meets all food safety requirements set by Corporate Food Safety department.
- Ensure all sanitation and food safety tasks are completed, and paperwork filed as per the Corporate Food Safety guidelines.
- Communicate directly with Corporate Food Safety on the priorities and status of the facility.
- All other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma or 5 years of relevant experience.
- Ability to be flexible with hours.
- Effective interpersonal communication skills.
- Experienced in Microsoft Office.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (Preferred).
- Forklift experience (Preferred).
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365/inventory systems (Preferred).
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Ability to lift or move 25 to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work in temperature-controlled environment from 34°F – 42°F.
- Work safely near moving mechanical parts and equipment.
