JOB SUMMARY
The HRIS Analyst will maintain Mission Produce’s Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) (e.g., ADP, Trakstar, PayScale, etc.) and build reports based on the company’s data. As an analytical advisor, this person will provide keen oversight regarding HR databases and computer systems, assist in the preparation of merit increases and incentive programs, and support budgeting, compensation, and reporting.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
§ Evaluate and maintain HRIS processes and develop improvements to HR applications.
§ Ensure company compliance with region-specific regulations and laws, including reporting and pay requirements.
§ Maintain annual and mid-year updates to HR plans.
§ Assess current HR systems and utilization; identify and recommend improvements to maximize value and efficiency of the HRIS systems.
§ Collaborate with HR staff to determine the short- and long-term information department and system objectives.
§ Prepare reports, make analytical assessments, and present findings and recommendations to the HR director and other company leaders.
§ Prepare training materials, guides, and hands-on support for ADP system users.
§ Maintain knowledge of trends and developments in HRIS providers, vendors, and technology.
§ Support the workflow between HRIS, Payroll, and IT teams by maintaining confidential electronic personnel records, including wage and hour issues, new hires, and terminations.
§ Create system functionality and lead projects that impact data maintenance.
§ Process employee information and maintain employee records in the company’s HRIS database.
§ Analyze data and prepare statistical summaries and special reports from HRIS involving skills, pay grade, performance data, payroll information, and other employee records.
§ Create and maintain HR dashboard(s) to reflect HR performance in all major functional areas including but not limited to HR compliance, retention/turnover, hiring statistics, learning, etc.
§ Maintain data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data.
§ Support daily/weekly processes, transactions, mass changes, data entry, and generate ad hoc reporting as needed.
§ Support other areas cross-functionally as needed.
§ Perform other duties as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
§ Five years of HRIS-relevant experience.
§ Strong analytical skills with a passion for interpreting and communicating data.
§ Has experience developing creative solutions.
§ Proficient in Microsoft Office (i.e., Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).
§ Must have advanced Excel skills (i.e., Pivot Tables, V-LOOKUP, complex formulas, ability to create reports and spreadsheets, etc.).
§ Exceptional ability to gather and interpret data as well as improve HRIS processes.
§ Ability to work with confidential information.
§ Keen organizational skills and attention to detail.
§ Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on identifying problems, leveraging data, and implementing solutions.
§ Excellent time management skills and ability to plan and set priorities.
§ Ability to keep up with technical innovation and trends in HRIS Analysis.
§ At least three years of experience with HR business systems highly preferred.
§ Compensation experience is desired.
Range: $85k - $120k
