JOB SUMMARY
As the Senior Director of Information Technology, you will lead a high-performing IT team across various international locations (Mexico, Peru, Chile, and Europe) and play a key role in aligning technology with the company’s goals to drive growth and innovation. You will assist in all aspects of IT portfolio management, ensuring that projects are executed on time, within budget, and in alignment with the company’s objectives. Your leadership will be instrumental in developing the technology roadmap, managing IT infrastructure, and fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and innovation.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee the entire IT project portfolio, ensuring successful, on-time, and on-budget delivery of all initiatives. Drive consistency in project management practices across the organization.
- Partner with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure IT projects are aligned with business priorities and objectives.
- Ensure business continuity by managing risk and compliance within IT systems, networks, and data. Implement best practices to safeguard the organization’s data and technology assets.
- Monitor the performance of IT systems, networks, and applications, identifying opportunities for improvement, process simplification, and cost reduction.
- Manage and mentor a global team of IT professionals, ensuring they are equipped to meet department goals and deliver high-quality results. Foster a collaborative and performance-driven culture within the team.
- Establish and maintain governance frameworks for IT projects, ensuring effective decision-making, accountability, and alignment with organizational priorities.
- Oversee relationships with external vendors and partners to ensure successful service delivery and strategic alignment with the company’s technological needs.
- Perform other duties as required to support the organization’s goals and ensure the effective functioning of IT operations.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Technology, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred.
- 8+ years of progressive leadership experience in IT, with a proven track record of driving large-scale technology initiatives and managing global IT teams.
- Strong expertise in ERP systems and their integration within complex business environments.
- Experience in developing and executing IT strategies that support business growth, innovation, and operational efficiency.
- Demonstrated ability to manage IT portfolio and project execution, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and aligned with business objectives.
- Strong understanding of IT governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and influence senior executives, stakeholders, and external partners.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
- 10+ years of experience leading large-scale IT organizations, with a focus on strategic planning, technology innovation, and business alignment.
- 5+ years of experience with M&A.
- 5+ years of experience in ERP system, including global rollouts.
- Experience in the food, agriculture, or manufacturing industries.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
Pay Range: $204,000 to $265,000 + benefits & incentives
